About Me — Daily Quick Recipes

Hi, I’m Mary, and if you’ve landed on this page, I’m really glad you’re here.

I’ll be honest with you — I didn’t start Daily Quick Recipes because I went to culinary school or worked in a fancy restaurant. I started it because cooking is something I genuinely love, and at some point I thought, why keep all of this to myself?

Cooking has always been my way of unwinding. There is something about being in the kitchen, trying a new cut of meat or figuring out how to get the perfect sear on a steak, that just makes me happy. It’s my hobby, my creative space, and honestly, one of my favorite parts of the day.

Why I Created This Site

I noticed that a lot of people around me felt like cooking was either too complicated or too time-consuming. They would skip home cooking entirely just because they didn’t know where to start, or because every recipe they found seemed to take forever.

That bothered me. Because in my kitchen, I was making flavorful, satisfying meals every day — and none of them were taking hours. So I decided to start sharing what I was already doing.

That’s how Daily Quick Recipes was born. Not as a business plan or a big project — just as a place where I could put the recipes I actually cook, written the way I would explain them to a friend sitting at my kitchen table.

What I Believe About Cooking

I truly believe that a meal doesn’t need to be complicated to be delicious. Some of the best dishes I’ve ever made were ready in under 30 minutes with ingredients I already had at home.

My cooking style is fast, but it never feels rushed. I want every plate to taste like someone put real care into it — because even when you’re short on time, food should still feel homemade. That matters to me.

What You’ll Find Here

On this site you’ll find recipes for chicken, beef, lamb, pork, and steak — all tested in my own kitchen before I share them with you. I write every recipe myself, I cook every dish myself, and if something doesn’t turn out the way I want it to, I don’t publish it.

You won’t find anything complicated here. Just clear steps, real ingredients, and meals that actually work on a regular weeknight.

Let’s Keep in Touch

If you try one of my recipes, I’d love to hear how it went. You can reach me anytime through the Contact page — I read every message.

And if you want new recipes sent straight to you, join the newsletter. I’ll also send you a free eBook with 7 of my favorite quick recipes to get you started.

Thank you so much for being here. Now go cook something good.
